Dear Dr. Levkowitz,
As for North Korean Documentaries I would suggest the following titles be added to library collections:(I've added web addresses) .

NORTH KOREA, A DAY IN THE LIFE http://www.goldenmonkey.nl/index2.htm
Dir: Pieter Fleury
In this documentary the family of Hong Sun Hui, a female worker in a
textile factory, takes us through an ordinary day in the country of the
Beloved Leader Kim Jong Il. The people undergo an endless stream of
propaganda. Unmoved, they perform their duties. At the nursery school,
Hong's daughter learns that 'flowers need the sun and she needs the love of
the Great Leader to grow.' The system of indoctrination, control and
self-criticism seems both frightening and ridiculous. Although unexpected,
an escape is underway: English lessons for Hong's brother seem to bring a
spark of hope. 48 minutes.
Kim's Nuclear Gamble
The world is running out of time to strike a peace-preserving deal with North Korea's strange and reclusive leader Kim Jong Il. For ten years, threats, deceptions, and diplomatic ploys have shaped U.S. relations with the Hermit Kingdom. Now, what happens next depends on the outcome of a raging debate within the Bush administration over how best to handle Chairman Kim. FRONTLINE traces the delicate maneuvers and clumsy turns that have brought the world to the brink of a nuclear showdown in Asia.

The greatest shock in World Cup history. In 1966 North Korea beat the favourites Italy to cement their place in World Cup history. After losing in the quarter-finals they returned home as heroes.
