the Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) of the Word Bank reports, that:
The Korea Investment Service Center has recently re-launched its Web
-- http://www.kisc.org/. In addition to information on market
investment incentives and procedures, the revamped site includes
information on specific investment opportunities in various regions of
South Korea, a "what's new" section, as well as a listing of upcoming
events. A link to this and other sites can be found in IPAnet's
Links under Investment Promotion Agencies, East and South East Asia --
BTW, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) tops this
ranking of investment promotion agency Web sites.
Also available in the WWW is the yearly "Global Competitiveness Report"

Growth Competitiveness: SKorea ranks 29th this year after having been
in 1999. The USA top the list and have changed places with Singapore.
Current Competitiveness: SKorea ranks 27th this year after having been
