The Sixth New York Korean Film Festival is still held until Sept 3.
Especially, we have mini Lee Man-Hee Retrospective this year. Lee Man-Hee is not as well known to foreigners as Im Kwon-Taek, Shin Sang-Ok, and Yu Hyun-Mok. But his style and theme are very intriguing. Last year Pusan International Film Festival host Lee's retrospective and visitors found his great and astonishing films. This year's mini retrospective at New York will be a great chance to introduce his films to foreign film fans in New York.
