Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies offers Fellowships in 2012
at Kyujanggak Institute in Korea
The Kyujanggak Insitute for Korean Studies would like to invite applications for its fall 2012 fellowships. The fellowships provide Korean Studies researchers with the opportunity to use the Kyujanggak collection as well as other resources at Seoul National University to carry out their research projects.
Two kinds of fellowships are available this time:
- fellowship A: For researchers in Korean Studies affiliated with overseas universities; 3 to 4 months, monthly stipend, housing and airfare provided; fellows are expected to give a talk and submit a report upon completion of their fellowship
- junior fellowship: for PhD students; 3 months, one-off 3 million KRW stipend provided.
The deadline for applications is May 10, 2012, and appointments should start in September or October 2012.
The application dossier should include:
- a short cover letter & CV
- application form
- 5-page research proposal
- work sample
- 2 letters of recommendation
