Visit the Gyeongbukgung Palace

There is no way going to Korea without visiting one of its most historical sites, the Gyeongbukgung Palace. You will have the opportunity to live the era of the Korean Joseon Dynasty. While there, you can put yourself more into the atmosphere by putting on gatekeeper costume, which is absolutely free; and make sure you do not miss out on the Royage Guard Changing Ceremony, also called the "Gwanghwamun Gate Guard-on-Duty Performance".


Visit the Bukchon Hanok Village

This beautiful site is located adjacent the Gyeongbukgung Palace. The atmosphere and traditional keeping of the Hanok houses will bring you back to the Joseon Dynasty; and the most amazing thing about these traditional houses is that people live in them. What a beautiful way to honor their culture. It is a MUST SEE if you are in Korea.

Jogyesa Buddhist Temple

Going to Korea without visiting the Jogyesa Buddhist Temple and getting soaked into their spirituality is definitely not worth it. You will have the opportunity to visit of the oldest edifice ever present in the country.

Try out Street food

It is impossible to get hungry in Korea with all the delicious and yummy street food sold around town. You could try some of these delicious foods and get soaked in the Korean's culture for real. The most must-try street food in Korea includes hotteok (sweet pancakes), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and kimbap (seaweed rice rolls).


Try out the famous ginseng chicken soup

You cannot go to Korea without stopping at Tosokchon to drink the famous ginseng chicken soup. Although the waiting line is sometimes long, and you might get tired, the taste of the soup is definitely worth the wait.

Visit the War Memorial and Museum

You will be transported into the country's history of wars, while seeing the statues and memorials remembering the country's biggest wars.

Go shopping at Myeondong

What is a trip without shopping? You will have the opportunity to shop till you drop at Myeondong. Whether you are looking for the newest, coolest clothes, sneakers or cosmetics, shop are available with all kinds of products you could ever imagine of.
